The house

By Choonmoo Park · Seoul
Bold contrast, gentle harmony — Korea’s modern avant-garde since 1988
Launched in 1988 by designer Choonmoo Park, Demoo flourished the "modern avant-garde look" in Korea with her contemporary sense of form and profound philosophy. The house builds on bold contrast and gentle harmony — architectural tailoring against flowing silhouettes, black and white, maximalism and minimalism — and still shows seasonal collections, most recently on the Seoul Fashion Week calendar.

A shirt-style outer piece made from a hairy-textured check fabric using imported material. A classic collar sits at the neckline and a snap button closing across the front lends a casual mood, while the relaxed overall silhouette allows layering with various pieces or wear on its own. A drawstring at the hem allows the silhouette to be adjusted.
